The Pre-10/10 Week.

Not much to say about this week. 10/10 is a national Taiwan holiday, sort of their version of Independence Day. So we get Friday (tomorrow) off and a nice three day weekend. 26 of us are going to Lu Dao (Green Island) which is about 6 hours away on bus, off the southern tip of Taiwan. Prepping ourselves for the weekend, the week itself was pretty chill; a few trips back up to the roof of Guo Qing, a few trips to get various stuff for the trip.

Today we went to Carre-4, which is the Taiwanese equivalent of Wal-Mart. This is seriously the biggest... thing I have ever seen. It towers above you like five stories tall but inside it seems as though there are only three or so stories. On top there is a driving range! So that sort of gives you an idea of how large everything below the driving range is. It's pretty ridiculous, but we didn't find much, just a bunch of snacks and drinks for the bus ride there. They didn't even have water guns!

All in all, it's been a very boring but short week. However, this weekend should be fun and exciting! So until I come back on Sunday, zai jian!
